discord chat going silent

I still have yet to resolve this issue, and I do not want to use the web version. It happens so often that I've become pretty paranoid about it. Your place to talk. I have an external soundcard (Audient id14) and had no big issues before the last few days. On another front, if I have anything but "default" set for my discord app's audio, it will frequently be completely silent for everything but voice chat. I have a netgear R6220. It happens so often that I've become pretty paranoid about it. If I haven't heard someone say anything after 5-10 minutes I'm asking "Is my discord messed up again". New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Enabled QoS and gave my PC's MAC Address highest priority and that fixed it (for me). Edit: Win 7 user here. For me though, I'm able to disconnect, then reconnect and I can hear them. My issue may not be the exact problem you're having but maybe this will help. I enabled QoS and it still happens.
